The notes from 500 to 20,000 «strong» bolívares, dated 18 August 2016, were five to two hundred times the former highest denomination. They received no new design: the large notes repeated the figures and animals of the 2007 series.
The 1,000 bolívares repeats the design of the 5: Pedro Camejo, known as Negro Primero, on the front and a giant armadillo on the back.
This example is variety P95a, dated 18 August 2016 on the note. The «strong» bolívar lasted ten years: on 20 August 2018 it was replaced by the «sovereign» bolívar at 100,000 to 1.
The pair of 5 and 1,000 bolívares with the same design makes a ready exhibit for a collection on inflation, while the armadillo on the back keeps the note in a wildlife set too. UNC condition means the note has never circulated: no folds, no wear, no soiling, even corners — just as it left the press.
